A quick parable about the Apple touchbar

My workplace recently gave me a new touchbar Macbook Pro, and I’ve enjoyed it since I got it (ignoring the ridiculous USB-C dongle situation).
Today I was writing an important post in a browser, waved my hand over the keyboard while doing a key combo to take a screenshot, and accidentally triggered the virtual ESC button. I was merely waving my hand over the touchbar and never actually touched it.
The post was gone forever with the “keystroke”.

I’ve had this computer for two weeks, and I’ve now done this three times today, when my finger moves into a position like the photo above, as my eyes are on screen, off the keyboard.
The apple touchbar is the fucking worst.
