I've learned that my office

I've learned that my office is currently cursed by Murphy's Law, as an ethernet plug suddenly popped out of a network card, which made MetaFilter unreachable for about an hour today. Also, while I was talking on the phone with someone, the plug on the handset popped out, dropping the call. Perhaps someone greased all the ports in my office with Millennilube.
