Even more CMS talk
After writing my previous post about my dream blogging content management system, the folks over at Shop Talk asked me to come on and discuss it more. It’s on their site here and I’ve uploaded the episode MP3 directly here as well.
I hadn’t heard the show before they asked, so I caught up on a bunch of back episodes in the days leading up and I have to say as much as a podcast about front-end web development might sound like a dry subject, hosts Chris (nicest guy ever) and Dave (funniest guy ever) consistently put out an informative, interesting, and fun show. I loved my time talking with them and if you do web development, it’s a great weekly podcast to follow.
Dave also wrote up his own ideas for features in a perfect blogging system (he briefly covered some of them in the episode), and I think they’re all good ideas for things existing blogging engines might want to develop as add-ons to their systems.
