Having experienced two wonderful things for the first time in my life in the past couple weeks, I now have the overwhelming urge to to grab each of my friends and shake them vigorously while shouting "WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME ABOUT PERFECTLY PREPARED CHOCOLATE SOUFFLES AND DEEP TISSUE MASSAGES?!"

Pro tip: Try both at the same time.

Isn’t “deep tissue massage” just a euphemism for getting beat up? At least it felt that way the last time I tried it.

It was intense in spots, but I’ve had a sore back for the past few weeks and tried everything else and it was the one thing that made me feel awesome for the first time in a while.

I’ve never had a souffle nor a deep tissue massage. But after having the first Swedish massage that I’ve ever enjoyed (heck first massage I’ve ever enjoyed!) I can imagine that a good one would be really good. Will search out the souffles.
And by this I mean: you can’t blame me. I didn’t know either!

For the chocolate part, Cafe Jacqueline in San Francisco is awfully good.

I had a perfect one at Fleur de Lys in San Francisco, which prompted this post (but everything else about the meal there kind of sucked and was grossly overpriced/overhyped).

I’m shocked, shocked at the number of you that haven’t had a good souffle. They are the ultimate ending to a good meal. Chocolate are great, but Grand Marnier and lemon souffles are wonderful and sublime.
When Michele and I have our special date nights, it’s always to a place with good souffles. If you are in LA, Morton’s and Arroyo Chophouse do a good job.
