You need to come back to Los Angeles, there’s way better Thai places here than Emerald Thai. Plus, as a city we seem to have gotten over our meetup jinx that plagued us for so many years…

some interesting cities there! for 2006 mine would be oslo (norway), birmingham, london, oxford (all england) and ölü deniz (turkey). not quite as many!

San Carlos? Have you been to the Carlos Club yet? The interior is fantastic.

Really? I lived down the street from the Carlos Club for years but never went in. It looked cool from the outside, but I always figured it was a dive inside.
